Omnii has completed a variety of Transport Sector projects

Understanding of the processes within Transport projects is paramount to ensuring the success of fire protection design and fire safety / risk engineering principles.

We look outside of the National Construction Code (NCC) and use Standards such as AS4825 (Tunnel Fire Safety), NFPA 130 & 502, as well as using PiARC for background information to assist in our designs.

Omnii’s Transport Sector Experience includes:

Omnii were engaged to undertake a fire safety review to assess the fire safety implications associated with construction of a new building, adjacent to existing buildings. Omnii engineered a strategy which permitted construction, without adversely impacting on existing levels of fire safety and the need for undue additional site infrastructure works.

The Craigieburn Train Maintenance Facility is one of the largest and most modern train maintenance facilities in Australia. The $78 million construction project incorporated train wash, overnight storage, a jacking road, substations, amenities building and a carpark.
