Omnii has completed a variety of Transport Sector projects
Understanding of the processes within Transport projects is paramount to ensuring the success of fire protection design and fire safety / risk engineering principles.
We look outside of the National Construction Code (NCC) and use Standards such as AS4825 (Tunnel Fire Safety), NFPA 130 & 502, as well as using PIARC (World Road Association) for background information to assist in our designs.
Omnii’s Transport Sector Experience includes:
- Full Fire Protection Services design within tunnels
- Providing “Reference Designs” for tunnels
- Acting as Proof Engineer for Government
- Providing Peer Review and Certification of Fire Protection Services design for Fire Trade Contractors
- Specialist Fire Engineering for Tunnels and Stations, cognisant of various rolling stock impact on the facility in a fire situation
