West Village
About the Project
West Village is a $1 billion master-planned heritage development on 2.6 hectares. It will feature 1,000+ dwellings, 1 hectare of parkland, greenspaces and laneways, and 14,000sqm of commercial and retail outlets. Omnii Fire Engineers are helping to deliver multiple structures on this project.
Developed by Sekisui House, West Village is shaped around the heritage-listed Peter’s Ice Cream Factory. Built in 1928, the factory buildings are at the core of the masterplan, which has been designed as a lifestyle hub. The community is located just 800 metres from the Brisbane CBD in the vibrant suburb of West End.
Complementing the heritage features are cobblestone laneways which deliver a mixture of boutique retail and dining options, alongside Harris Farm markets and a full-line Woolworths supermarket.
The design of the multi-stage project is based around environmental consciousness and understanding that natural eco-systems enhance living environments.
